Ranjan complains to Bribery Commission against SLC

Deputy minister Ranjan Ramanayake today (26) lodged a complaint with the Bribery Commission over the corruption, fraud and irregularities said to have taken place in Sri Lanka Cricket.

Ramanayake said that he also handed over several documents as evidence.

He said certain former and serving officers of SLC as well as former sports ministers have been accused over the wrongdoing.

The documents will be handed over within days to the CID and the FCID as well, he said.

An official of the Bribery Commission said they would investigate the allegations contained in the complaint by the deputy minister.
