Former JVP MP and Central Committee member of the National Freedom Front (NFF) Jayantha Wijesekera has received appointment as the SLFP Trincomalee District organiser.
Wijesekera yesterday met President Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat. Wijesekera has worked closely with the Joint Opposition (JO) until recently.
