Money laundering case against Mahindananda: Trial fixed

Colombo High Court Judge, Gihan Kulatunga, yesterday fixed the trial against former Minister of Sports, Mahindananda Aluthgamage for November 20, 21.

He has been indicted with money laundering up to Rs. 27.4 million to purchase a house in Borella while he was a minister. Counsel Kanchana Ratwatte appeared for the accused.

Deputy Solicitor General, Thusitha Mudalige, appeared for the Attorney General.
