Corruption case against Fowzie refixed

Additional Magistrate of Colombo Buddhika Sri Ragala yesterday re-fixed the date of evidence in the inquiry against A. H. M. Fowzie for November 23.

The Chief Magistrate of Colombo was on duty leave yesterday. The complaint of corruption against Fowzie was called and put off for November 23.

Fowzie is suspected of corruption and abuse of public property for using a state owned luxury vehicle valued at Rs. 200 million for his private trips.

The complainant is the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
